The Entrepreneur in Residence program is our most prestigious program in the Venturethon. This time, we will have eight spots for EIR, instead of the usual two.
This is a three-month program, the selection for which is made after participation in the 10-day Venturethon sprint. You have to share with us your entrepreneurial idea, ideally focused on AI or Web3 and submit the MVP at the end of the 10-day Venturethon/sprint. Existing early-stage startups are also welcome to join. You will have to develop an additional feature during this period, so we can clearly differentiate between what you built before and what you’ve developed during the venturethon.
Each EIR needs to be a team of two individuals. Once you sign up for the venturethon, we can help you match with a co-founder, if you don’t already have one.
When joining the cohort each EIR team gets 9000 SNI per team for the duration of three months plus 6,000 SNI as locked rewards for each team, so that’s a total of 15,000 SNI. You can check SNI to USD conversion here.
If you are a Rank 5+ founder, you will be eligible for 18,000 SNI + 12,000 Token staked. For detailed information on EIR and the rank system head here.
In our next cohort starting September 15, we’ll bring together developers, founders, creators, to explore, ideate, and create cutting-edge projects. Post hackathon, projects get the opportunity to grow with soonami and get $125k in funding from us.
The areas we focus on: AI and Web3.
Here is a list of topics to chose from, but not limited to:
Disclaimer: By participating in the soonami Venturethon Cohort, selected teams enter an agreement with soonami to receive an 8-week training program, investor introductions, and funding facilitation, including a $20,000 USD investment from soonami if a third-party invests $20,000+ at Demo Day. In return, the teams commit to providing 2% equity, a 3-5 minute Demo Day pitch, and required documentation (business plan, survey, KYC, Cap Table, Foundance agreement). Both parties aim to secure $125,000+ within 6 months post-Demo Day, typically at $125,000 for 6% equity, with soonami’s equity dropping to 1.5% for non-soonami-sourced funding.
