Venturethon is a way for soonami to find ideas and projects worth investing in. This time we are focused on high-potential founders and will admit only top 50 teams to the Venturethon. Post Venturethon we will annoucne the top 10 teams who will receive 10k FSNI each, making the prize pool 100k FSNI

In addition to that, these 10 teams will also be selected into the 3-month cohort provided they sign a contract with soonami. The FSNI will be paid out only post-signing. We will admit additional teams over and above the 10, but these teams will not be elligble to receive FSNI

FSNI is soonami's token that you can use on the Foundance platform to pay freelances, advisors, lawyers and conduct other tasks on the platform.

Applications are open to both, new ideas and existing teams. We want to help you turn your ideas into successful businesses.

Selected startups will get OpenAI's API Platform Credits provided you meet the terms and conditions. You must have a valid business email, the company must have been founded in the last 7 years, you should have an online presence or live company website and you must not an existing contract with OpenAI

All Venturethon Edition 9 participants will receive a 3 month membership at The Delta Campus in Berlin which is a coworking space.

Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)

The Entrepreneur in Residence program is our most prestigious program in the Venturethon. This time, we will have ten spots for EIR, instead of the usual two.

This is a three-month program, the selection for which is made after participation in the 10-day Venturethon sprint. You have to share with us your entrepreneurial idea, ideally focused on AI or Web3 and submit the MVP at the end of the 10-day Venturethon/sprint. Existing early-stage startups are also welcome to join. You will have to develop an additional feature during this period, so we can clearly differentiate between what you built before and what you’ve developed during the venturethon.

Each EIR needs to be a team of two individuals. Once you sign up for the venturethon, we can help you match with a co-founder, if you don’t already have one.

Category 1

New Ventures

This category is designed for newly formed teams and innovative ideas that have emerged only during this Venturethon. Whether you have a groundbreaking idea or just started building your team, this category welcomes all new ventures focused on Web3 and AI topics.

Category 2

On The Fast Track

This category is designed for existing ventures in the AI or Web3 space. If you've been working on your idea for some time but are looking for funding or are looking to build more through a sprint; or are recruiting for a new role and want to meet global talent - then this is the track for you. It's a great experience for a team that wants to learn how to pitch to investors.

Category 3

Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)

This track is for those who've been shortlisted for soonami's EIR position. While most rules remain the same as other tracks, team size is ideally two. Also this track doesn't have a bounty but a stipend for three months. Also, a web3 or AI startup idea is manadatory in this track - right from the beginning.

There are slots for six EIR teams this time around.

And an additional two slots for Rank5+ founders.

For The Good Track

One driven and ambitious winner of this track will receive a direct participation ticket into our Cohort.
Entry into the Cohort provides access to mentorship, exclusive workshops designed to scale their project, valuable resources, $200k in credits, structured support for accountability and goal achievement, training to compete for a $125k funding opportunity, and an opportunity to present their startup in front of our Investment Committee.
