Berlin, October
soonami.io, a new-generation remote venture builder for Web3 and AI startups, is now accepting applications for its next cohort – the soonami Venturethon, scheduled for November 27th to December 3rd, 2023.
Venturethon is a week-long remote hackathon offering a bounty of up to $24,000 to winning teams and a funding potential of $125,000 for teams that match the investment criteria of soonami and are chosen by its accelerator program post-hackathon.
soonami’s mission is to enable startups to create, build, and scale by applying the best of Web 3.0 and AI solutions. It believes in a remote-first world that fosters inclusiveness of founders across the globe. Its approach is to build a software-based platform for co-founders and ideas, giving them the opportunity to accelerate with skills, technologies, and investment.
With this in mind, it has conducted two hackathons since July 2023, resulting in two outstanding cohorts of founders and builders from across the globe. The cohorts aimed at fostering innovation, collaboration, and community building. Most importantly, they support ventures in finding co-founders, building product-market fit, and preparing them for investment.
16.9% of soonami cohort participants are entrepreneurs, 30.3% are developers, 14.8% are AI enthusiasts, and 29.7% are students.

Hira Siddiqui, Blockchain Architect and Co-founder of Plularity, the winning team of the FutureTech Hackathon (soonami Cohort 1), says:
“My experience in the soonami hackathon was nothing short of amazing. The community and environment that soonami was able to build around the hackathon was super supportive and motivating. My team and I learned a lot, and we were able to piece together a working prototype of an idea we had been envisioning for some time. Not only did this hackathon give us the push to test out our idea but also to build a community of mentors and supporters around it.”
Andrew Miracle, Founder of Workforce, the winning team of the FutureTech Hackathon (Cohort 1), says:
“The hackathon was intense; at some point, I wasn’t even sure we’d make it for the submission. However, we had really helpful mentors and advisors from the soonami ecosystem who helped us shape the scope of what we could work on during the hackathon and also helped us validate our idea. The mentors gave us insight into the direction we could take, and we validated it by building a proof of concept during the hackathon.”
